Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Due to the high demand for our Toyota Corolla vehicles and our promise to ensure you receive the vehicle you have reserved or an upgrade, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

72-Hour Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your reservation on a vehicle and do so prior to 72 hours from the scheduled pick-up time, there will be no charge. However, if you cancel your reservation within 72 hours prior to the pick-up time or fail to show up for the reservation, we will charge 50% of the estimated rental charges on the credit card that you used to secure the reservation.

Securing Your Reservation

When booking your reservation online, please include the credit card information in the requested areas to secure a vehicle. Customer information is handled by JotForm (3rd party) and payments are handled by PayPal (3rd party). Your information is secured with SSL.

Important: If you do not include your credit card information, the reservation is NOT SECURED. In this case, please call us during regular business hours with that information to secure it.

Incomplete Reservations

If we contact you for credit card information, you will need to provide us with that information at that time or within a reasonable amount of time; otherwise, the reservation will be voided.

If we are unable to contact you via the information that you provided us with online, we will immediately void the reservation.

Changes to Reservations

If you need to make changes to your reservation, such as extending or shortening your rental period, changing the pick-up time, or switching to a different vehicle, please contact us as soon as possible.

Changes made more than 72 hours before your scheduled pick-up time will not incur any additional fees. Changes made within 72 hours of your scheduled pick-up time may be subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Early Returns

If you return your rental vehicle earlier than the scheduled return time, please note that we cannot issue a refund for unused rental days unless the early return is due to a mechanical failure of the vehicle.

Vehicle Damage and Additional Charges

Any damage to the rental vehicle during your rental period will be assessed and charged to the credit card on file. Additional charges may also apply for excessive cleaning required due to improper use of the vehicle.

Insurance Claims

If you have purchased insurance coverage through Berkshire Car Rentals or are using coverage through your personal auto insurance or credit card, you must still provide a valid credit card at the time of rental as a security deposit.
